TON uses Axelar’s Mobius for enhanced blockchain compatibility

Working together, Axelar and the Open Network (TON) have put the Mobius Development Stack—which allows smooth interaction with 68 blockchain systems—into use. This integration aims to boost the scalability and usability of distributed apps even while improving user interactions all throughout the Web3 ecosystem.

Axelar’s Mobius Development Stack (MDS) has been chosen by the Open Network (TON) to significantly increase its interoperability with 68 other blockchain systems, hence enhancing blockchain connectivity. This agreement seeks to spread the presence of distributed apps (dApps) on Web3 platforms as well as improve their accessibility and performance inside the TON ecosystem.

The perfect partner for Axelar’s “open, developer-friendly stack” was Anthony Tsivarev, head of the ecosystem development at TON Foundation. Following thorough analysis of many cross-chain interoperability solutions, Axelar’s MDS stands out for security aspects and flexible integration capacity.

Key component of this cooperation is Axelar’s Interchain Amplifier technology, which lets developers on the TON blockchain to interface with other blockchain networks. Users will therefore soon be able to quickly move assets and data between TON and other well-known networks as Ethereum, Cosmos, and Polkadot.

This connection helps developers construct dApps over various blockchains without using complex bridge mechanisms. By laying a solid interoperability layer, TON hopes to improve customer experience and eliminate liquidity fragmentation.

As blockchain ecosystems keep growing increasingly divergent, the need for efficient interoperability solutions has soared.Recent advancements in the Web3 space have amply exposed the network links across these ecosystems. To improve its own cross-chain capabilities, the Ronin Network has joined with Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP).

For TON users, Axelar’s MDS will simplify interactions and transactions, therefore removing the need for bridging and improving their access to Web3 apps. This streamlined experience helps to keep consumers that need speedy blockchain interactions.

All things considered, the cooperation between the TON Foundation and Axelar signals a major turning point in promoting cross-chain interoperability. TON seeks to unite and enable the surroundings for its community by employing the Mobius Development Stack, so removing challenges related with scattered liquidity and divided assets.
