The Ronin Network has announced a $10 million grant initiative to spur growth and innovation in blockchain technology. This effort aims to empower developers by giving financial resources, fostering innovation, and promoting decentralized applications (DApps), games, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.
A boost for blockchain developers. The Ronin Ecosystem Grants program, which launched on January 16, has two funding options: Builder Grants and Waypoint Gas Grants. Builder Grants offer up to $300,000 in Ronin (RON) tokens to fund various stages of project development, including coding, auditing, and deployment. Waypoint Gas Grants, with a ceiling of $20,000, aim to ease blockchain interactions by covering gas fees, improving user experience, and onboarding new users.
Funding is milestone-based, which means that developers receive financial support as their projects correspond with Ronin’s long-term aims of developing a healthy, linked blockchain ecosystem.

We encourage developers to create tools and applications that enhance the public’s access to blockchain technology. The ultimate goal is to turn Ronin into a hub for Web3 innovations like gaming and DeFi.
Exclusive Benefits for Approved ProjectsIn addition to funding, Ronin will promote approved initiatives through its channels, such as the Ecosystem Grants website and Ronin Wallet. Participants will also receive access to the Ronin Builders Discord group, which allows them to communicate with other teams, venture capitalists, and advisers. Additionally, developers can interface with existing Web3 games and ecosystem partners while saving money on infrastructure and tools.
Flexible Application ProcessThe grants program has an open-ended application process with no fixed deadline. We review submissions for approximately four weeks to thoroughly examine each proposal. Developers requesting multiple awards must submit separate applications for each program.
