The well-known hacktivist group Anonymous has pointed its sights at a new target, Terra founder Do Kwon, saying that he is solely responsible for driving billions of dollars away from retail investors through fraudulent investments and fraudulent investment schemes. On its official YouTube page, the group posted a video in which it confirmed its commitment to bringing Do Kwon and his crimes to justice as soon as possible. Some of the allegations include the fact that he allegedly withdrew billions of dollars from the company not long before the collapse of the Terra ecosystem, as well as his involvement with the failed stablecoin project Basis Cash.
According to the video, Anonymous asserts in the video that Do Kwon had “bad intentions from the outset,” and emphasizes that his crimes should be exposed as soon as possible. According to Anonymous, they are exploring Do Kwon’s complete history since he entered the cryptosphere so they can learn more about him and tell the world what they have found.
The video refers to several controversies and questionable actions that Do Kwon has committed. According to Anonymous, the crypto industry, along with the rest of the global market, was experiencing a tough time. As a direct result of macro-economic trends, the Hacker group believes the market was due for some pain, and Do Kwon’s actions were the cause of the digital scamming of billions of dollars away from retail investors.
One of the actions stated in the video is that Do Kwon cashed out over $80 million per month before LUNA and TerraUSD crashed. It was Terraform Labs employees that informed the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of this, and it has landed the co-founder in hot water.
Do Kwon, if you are listening, sadly, there is nothing that can be done to reverse the damage that you have done. At this point, the only thing that we can do is hold you accountable and make sure that you are brought to justice as soon as possible.
